This image of a Scorpion was taken under UV (black light) The blood of a
scorpion reacts with a brilliant glow. It's sitting in a porcelain bowl which also
glows a little. Since it was only a couple of inches long I had to use an extreme
close-up lens. This also means I had to shoot from 2 inches away, in the dark. Every
time I looked through the lens it was gone and I had to hunt it down. And yes, they do sting.
