The Grand Canyon. The size, the scope, the cool lodge. Pictures can't
even begin to do it justice. I once read that if you were to take everything
that mankind has ever built, it would not even fill 10% of the canyon.
Hmmm, but that would be a good start, and hey while you're at it make
sure you cover it all with at least a foot of topsoil...

This is Red Rock state park (at 5:30 am). I don't know why they call it that. They
probably named it after Red Rock loop, which just happens to run through it.

Old dead tree.

This shot and the one above are from Watchman trail in Zion Natl. Park in
Utah. The closest major city is Las Vegas, NV only a couple of hours away
from this beautiful park. Most people in LV don't realize it exists let alone go
there. I couldn't be more pleased.

This stone formation lies in Valley of Fire, another NV state park. It is called
"Elephant Rock". When I had the print made I was going to call it "Elephant
Rock with Rimp" but I suppose that would be insulting to asians. Please,
no "linguini with crams" jokes.
